Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, to establish accurate diagnoses. Deliver high-quality general dentistry services such as dental cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy. Conduct complex procedures including dental extractions, oral surgery, implants, orthodontics, and endodontics with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques. Utilize advanced dental software systems like Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix for charting, medical documentation, and treatment planning. Maintain strict infection control protocols in compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare laws to ensure patient safety. Communicate effectively with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-procedure care clearly and compassionately. Collaborate with the dental team to coordinate patient care plans and ensure seamless workflow within the clinic environment. Requirements Valid state license to practice dentistry with current certification in general dentistry. Proven experience working in a dental clinic or healthcare setting with proficiency in dental office management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical imaging techniques, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Skilled in performing a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, oral surgery, prosthodontics, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with infection control standards and aseptic techniques essential for safe practice. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations while demonstrating empathy and professionalism. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and state healthcare requirements related to medical records management. Experience with four-handed dentistry practices to optimize efficiency during procedures. Additional skills in medical terminology, anesthesia administration (including anesthesiology), dental fabrication techniques, and client communication are highly desirable.
