Utilize advanced dental imaging technology to diagnose and evaluate endodontic conditions accurately. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists to coordinate comprehensive care plans for complex cases involving oral surgery or prosthodontics. Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and state healthcare standards. Educate patients on their diagnosis, treatment options, and post-procedure care to promote informed decision-making. Uphold strict infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment during all procedures. Stay current with advancements in endodontics, dental terminology, and healthcare diagnosis through ongoing professional development. Requirements Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state licensure to practice dentistry with specialization in endodontics. Proven experience in performing root canal therapy, dental extractions, and related procedures within a clinical setting. Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix. Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, medical imaging techniques, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry concepts and the ability to work effectively with pediatric patients is advantageous. Excellent communication skills for patient care, team collaboration, and documentation purposes. Ability to adhere to HIPAA guidelines and comply with all state healthcare regulations governing dental practice. Prior experience in dental office or clinic environments that emphasize high-quality patient care and clinical excellence.
