Job Overview SoWA Orthodontics is growing and searching for a part-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our team! We are a newer practice that values positive attitude, supportive work environment, and high quality patient care. This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, a self-starter after initial training, and committed to outstanding experience for our patients and team. The position is 2 days (averaging 16 hours) a week. Solid general dentistry skills are a plus, and we will teach you orthodontics! Responsibilities Operatory preparation Instrument processing/sterilization Records taking (digital impressions, clinical photos, x-rays) Chair-side orthodontic assisting with indirect bonding of brackets, clear aligner delivery, appliance cementation, wire tie-ins, wire insertion (after proper training) Provide home care and oral hygiene instructions Assist patient with our remote monitoring program Be cross trained for basic front desk duties (answering phones and scheduling) Maintaining a clean office What does the perfect fit look like to us?
