HYGIENIST WAGE: EXPERIENCE DRIVES WAGES. OUR PAY RANGE IS $60 TO $ 65 OUR OFFICE: Our general dental practice in White Salmon, WA. is seeking a part time hygienist for 1 or 2 days a week. Dr. Evonne and her team at MT. Vista provide long-term, comprehensive, quality dental care to our patients, and we have an amazing office and amazing team. HYGIENE PHILOSOPHY: In our practice, we believe in the importance of treating periodontal disease and evaluating pocket depth, gingival recession, attachment, level of bleeding, the presence of inflammation, bone loss patterns and the degree of mobility along with comprehensively informing the dentist of your findings and educating your patient. Experienced hygienists and new grads welcome to apply. Must have all Washington Hygiene certifications and a Washington hygiene license. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients’ teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies REDUCED BENEFITS FOR PART TIME: PAID TIME OFF AND 401k CONTRIBUTION DAYS AND HOURS: PART TIME, 1OR 2 DAYS A WEEK COVID: Our office follows all CDC, WDA, AD If you would like to join our team, please send a cover letter, resume and references to the above email address.
