Overview: DecisionOne Dental, supported by Smile Brands, is hiring a Part-Time Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our friendly team in Lake in the Hills, IL! What makes this opportunity unique? Just 2 Fridays a month Great opportunity to earn extra income while maintaining flexibility Join a supportive team that's passionate about creating confident, healthy smiles Schedule (days/hours): Friday 8-4 (2 times a month) Responsibilities: Assist the orthodontist during patient appointments and procedures. Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for each patient. Take diagnostic records, including X-rays and impressions (as permitted by state regulations). Educate patients on orthodontic treatment and oral hygiene. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards. Document treatment and maintain accurate patient records. Help create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient. Qualifications: Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date) Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Must have Orthodontic experience Compensation: $25-$28 About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
