What You'll Do (Your Impactful Role): Be a Key Player in Patient Care: Work chairside, assisting our dentists in a wide range of dental procedures with precision and a calm, reassuring presence. Master of Preparation & Sterilization: Expertly set up treatment rooms for procedures and meticulously clean, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and infection control. Capture Crystal-Clear Images: Confidently take high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs, contributing to accurate diagnoses and treatment planning. Facilitate Smooth Treatment Experiences: Prepare patients for treatments, ensure their comfort, and assist in reviewing and clarifying treatment plans, ensuring patients feel informed and at ease. Embrace Digital Workflows: Utilize your computer skills to help maintain accurate patient records and engage with our practice management software (proficiency with Dentrix Ascend is a definite plus !). Champion a Positive Patient Atmosphere: Your friendly and professional communication will be key in making every patient feel welcome, comfortable, and well-cared for throughout their visit. Who You Are (The Qualities You Bring): Experienced & Knowledgeable: You have prior experience working as a dental assistant in a dental office setting. A People Person, Through & Through: You genuinely enjoy interacting with people all day, possessing a naturally friendly, outgoing personality and a consistently professional demeanor. An Excellent Communicator: You have strong verbal communication skills, able to explain procedures clearly and listen empathetically to patients. Clinically Skilled: You are trained and confident in taking X-rays, sterilization techniques, and efficiently setting up and breaking down treatment rooms. Tech-Comfortable: You are proficient with computers and comfortable learning new dental software and technologies. A Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to working alongside a hardworking, supportive team. Key Qualifications & Requirements: Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (1 year preferred). X-Ray Certification (Preferred). Solid understanding of dental procedures, sterilization, and safety protocols. Proficiency in computer use; experience with Dentrix Ascend is a significant advantage.
