Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist Join our private orthodontic practice as an Orthodontic Insurance Coordinator / Front Desk Receptionist. This role combines patient interaction, insurance coordination, and administrative support to help create an exceptional experience for every patient who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage patient communication. Welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude from check-in through check-out. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for orthodontic treatment. Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance claims accurately and efficiently. Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues and ensure timely processing. Collect payments, down payments, and outstanding balances while maintaining accurate patient accounts. Maintain detailed patient records and documentation. Answer patient questions regarding insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and billing. Help keep the front office organized, efficient, and running smoothly while contributing to a positive team environment. What We're Looking For Experience in a dental or medical office; orthodontic or dental insurance coordination experience is preferred. Knowledge of dental/orthodontic insurance, claims processing, billing, and insurance verification. Experience with Cloud9 software is a plus. Strong communication and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills with great attention to detail. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine desire to help patients feel comfortable and cared for.
