Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Tucson, AZ
What we are looking are looking for: Prepare and turn over operatories: set up instruments, materials, and equipment for scheduled procedures; disinfect and sterilize per OSHA/CDC guidelines. Chairside assisting: pass instruments, retract, suction, mix materials, take impressions, place temporary restorations as permitted, and document treatment. Radiography: capture high-quality digital X-rays/CBCTs following ALARA and state regulations. Patient care: review medical histories, take vitals, explain procedures and post-op instructions, and ensure patient comfort. Records and scheduling: chart accurately in the practice management/EHR system; help coordinate appointments, referrals, and lab cases. Sterilization and inventory: operate sterilizers, monitor biological indicators, maintain logs; track supplies and assist with ordering. Lab support: pour models, trim, fabricate basic trays/temporaries as allowed.
