Monday 6:30am - 4:00pm Tuesday 6:30am - 4:00pm Wednesday 6:30am - 4:00pm Thursday 6:30am - 4:00pm Friday OFF Job Expectations As a Dental Assistant, you will play an essential role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting our clinical team in delivering high-quality dental care. You will work closely with the dentist and fellow team members to ensure patients feel comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their visit. As a Dental Assistant, you will be responsible for the following (including, but not limited to): Welcome patients with a friendly and professional attitude, help them feel comfortable, and prepare them for their appointment experience. Escort patients to treatment rooms, review appointment needs, and ensure the operatory is prepared for each procedure. Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures while anticipating needs and maintaining an efficient workflow. Build positive relationships with patients by listening to their concerns, answering questions, and helping create a comfortable, trusting environment. Maintain knowledge of current dental technologies, clinical procedures, and best practices to support an exceptional patient and clinical experience. Prepare, organize, and maintain treatment rooms with the necessary instruments, materials, and supplies for scheduled procedures. Monitor inventory levels of dental materials, lab cases, and supplies to help ensure the team is well-prepared for daily patient care. Take, process, and properly document high-quality dental radiographs while following safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records and support clinical documentation in accordance with practice standards. Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and sterilization guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant environment. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment according to established protocols. Support a positive team environment by communicating effectively, collaborating with coworkers, and contributing to shared practice goals. Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming environment for patients and team members. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to continue growing clinical skills and knowledge. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the success of the practice. Welcoming new grads or those with experience working as a Licensed Dental Assistant Knowledgeable of General Denistry is a plus but open to a specialty background LDA license is required Excellent verbal communication skills.
