We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at our Ustick location. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our dental practice by assisting the doctor during procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow, and providing exceptional patient care. Schedule Monday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM Thursday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM Friday – Sunday: Closed Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and a variety of dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care. Take and record patient vital signs as needed. Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment following OSHA and infection control protocols. Assist with instrument sterilization and ensure sterilization areas remain organized and efficient throughout the day. Take digital radiographs and other diagnostic records as needed. Manage patient records accurately and ensure documentation is complete and compliant. Support general dentistry procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and other restorative treatments. Assist with orthodontic procedures as needed. Support patients through education and communication rooted in integrative, airway-focused, and patient-centered dentistry. Qualifications Minimum of 2–3 years of dental assisting experience required. Proficiency in dental terminology and chairside assisting techniques. Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization protocols. Orthodontic assisting experience is a plus. Experience with Trios and/or iTero digital scanners is a plus. Experience with sleep apnea treatment, airway dentistry, or integrative health is highly desirable. Dental Assistant Certification and/or Radiology Certification preferred.
