Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Bourbonnais, IL

Position Overview Weâre looking for a motivated and personable Dental Assistant who is excited to support both clinical and front desk responsibilities. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety in their day, values patient interaction, and thrives in a team-oriented environment. Schedule (days/hours): TBD still working on schedule Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Support front desk duties, including: Greeting and checking in patients Scheduling appointments and managing the calendar Answering phones and handling patient inquiries Verifying insurance and processing payments Qualifications: Meet all state specific dental assistant credentialing requirements for the duties assigned in the state of employment Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before start date) Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation: $20-$24 About: Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (âPTOâ), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
