Job Summary We are an endodontic specialty practice seeking a part-time dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional chairside assistance during endodontic procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise will support the delivery of high-quality dental care, maintain clinical excellence, and uphold infection control standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with an experienced endodontist and contribute to patient oral health and comfort. Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. New dental assistants are welcome. Postion Hours 7:45am-4:15pm, 2-3 days per week Requirements X-ray, Infection control, and CPR certfication Responsibilities Assist the endodontist during root canal treatments, retreatments, apicoectomies and other complex endodontic procedures with precision and professionalism. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready for use. Take digital x-rays (Dexis) and CBCT scans (Carestream) Manage patient records (PBS Endo) Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit. Follow strict infection prevention protocols, including sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques, to maintain a safe clinical environment. Light front office duties (helping front desk as needed with tasks such as scheduling appointments to optimize workflow).
