Weâre looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Orthodontic Dental Assistant whoâs passionate about helping kids and teens feel confident and cared for during their orthodontic journey. Responsibilities As an Orthodontist Assistant at Bethel Kids Dental, your role will include: Assisting the orthodontist with exams, adjustments, and other procedures Preparing and educating patients and parents for orthodontic treatment Taking digital x-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans (iTero or similar) Sterilizing and maintaining clinical instruments and rooms Educating patients on appliance care and oral hygiene Documenting procedures and patient notes accurately in the system Contributing to a positive, team-based environment Qualifications Experience as a dental or orthodontic assistant required Orthodontic-specific experience highly preferred Must be an RDA Current X-ray certification (state-specific requirement) CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills, especially with children and parents Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Friendly, upbeat, and professional attitude Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus but not required Why Join Bethel Kids Dental?
