Responsibilities Assist dentists with a variety of pediatric dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and cleanings. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready for patient care. Provide chairside assistance by handing instruments, managing suction devices, and supporting four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize procedure efficiency. Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and answer questions related to pediatric dentistry procedures. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments according to sterilization procedures and infection control standards.
