Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care including patient assessment, prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing as indicated. Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and treatment options; offer personalized care plans and post-visit instructions. Maintain accurate medical and dental records, ensure HIPAA compliance, and coordinate with the dental team. Operate and manage dental equipment; assist chairside as needed and promote four-handed dentistry for efficiency. Monitor vital signs when appropriate and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
