Location: Neville Dental Care, Holland Position Type: Full-time (4 days per week) Mon-Thur (30 hrs) Overview: Neville Dental Care is a modern, privately owned dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care through advanced technology, compassionate service, and comprehensive dentistry. We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to work directly with our associate dentist, Dr. Danielle Teitelman. This unique position combines traditional private practice dentistry with mobile dentistry, offering the opportunity to expand your clinical skills while making a meaningful impact in patients' lives. On Mondays and Wednesdays, you'll work chairside with Dr. Teitelman at Neville Dental Care, assisting with a variety of general dental procedures in our state-of-the-art office. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, you'll accompany Dr. Teitelman through The Traveling Dentists, our mobile dentistry practice, providing dental care to patients in private residences, nursing homes, and assisted living communities in the area. This role allows you to help patients who may otherwise have limited access to dental care while experiencing a rewarding and unique side of dentistry. Key Responsibilities Assist Dr. Danielle Teitelman chairside during a variety of general dental procedures. Anticipate the dentist's needs and maintain an efficient clinical workflow. Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments and properly break down and disinfect operatories afterward. Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment. Take dental radiographs and intraoral photographs as needed. Accurately chart clinical notes and maintain patient records in Dentrix. Assist with digital impressions, temporary restorations, and other clinical support procedures within the scope of practice. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked clinical environment. Monitor patient flow to help ensure appointments remain on schedule. Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and office safety protocols. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, travel with Dr. Teitelman to provide chairside assistance during mobile dental appointments in private residences, nursing homes, and assisted living communities. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in both private practice and mobile care settings. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. Experience assisting chairside in a general dentistry practice. Pennsylvania Dental Radiology (X-ray) Certification (Required). Current CPR Certification (Required). Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, sterilization, and infection control protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in both a traditional dental office and mobile clinical setting. Experience with Dentrix preferred but not required. Ability to carry up to 20 pounds.
