Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct oral health assessments and document findings accurately in patient records Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventive care strategies Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures with efficiency and professionalism Provide patient comfort by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring a positive experience Maintain sterilization standards and ensure all dental instruments are properly sanitized and prepared for use Experience Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to perform dental hygiene procedures Prior experience working in a fast-paced dental practice or healthcare environment is preferred but not required—training will be provided for new graduates Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, infection control protocols, and radiography techniques Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members Ability to work independently with attention to detail while maintaining a lively, energetic approach to patient care Join us to elevate your career in dental hygiene!
