Job description: Mt. Spokane Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team 4 days per week. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our dentist in various procedures. Your contributions will help us continue providing the high-quality care our patients expect. Hours are: Monday 7:00am – 4:00pm Tuesday 7:00am – 4:00pm Wednesday 7:00am – 4:00pm Thursday 7:00am – 4:00pm Mt. What You'll Do Assist dentists during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry. Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and operatories. Take diagnostic X-rays. Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols. Assist with patient flow and scheduling as needed. Support the front desk with administrative tasks as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Certification as a Dental Assistant (preferred) Proficiency in EMR systems, particularly Eaglesoft Knowledge of HIPAA regulations Experience with chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
