Position Summary: Join our dynamic team as a Pediatric Dental Assistant in delivering exceptional care by creating a calm and friendly experience for our patients. As a key member of our dental team, you will assist the dentist during patients’ exams and procedures while explaining steps in simple terms, offering reassurance, and maintaining a gentle, compassionate approach. Responsibilities: Greet and prepare young patients for treatment Performs prophylaxis and assists in fillings, sealants, and other procedures Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control Take dental X-rays and document patient health history Set up and clean treatment rooms Educate children and parents on brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene Maintain patient dental records using electronic health record (EHR) systems Manage behavior guidance and comfort for anxious children Traits and skills: Patience and kindness Strong communication Attention to detail Organization and teamwork Ability to work well with children and families Understanding of dental procedures and safety protocols Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assisting Experience (1 year or more) Certified Dental Assistant Certificate If you thrive in a supportive environment that appreciates you and your expertise then JOIN us!
