As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental professionals in delivering high-quality treatment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a dental setting, possess excellent communication skills, and be familiar with dental assisting best practices. **Duties** - Provide direct support to our dentists, hygienists, and other dental professionals in the delivery of patient care. - Assist with patient exams, X-rays, and other dental procedures. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. - Utilize medical records software to document patient information. - Perform various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. - Participate in maintaining a clean and organized dental clinic, adhering to infection control protocols. - Assist with dentistry procedures, ensuring a gentle and patient-centered approach. - Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and needs in a friendly and professional manner. - Collaborate with our dental receptionist team to ensure seamless patient communication and scheduling. - Stay updated on the latest dental assisting techniques and best practices. **Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience. - Familiarity with dental terminology and HIPAA regulations. - Experience working in a dental clinic environment preferred - Proficiency with dental assisting software - Strong communication and organizational skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a positive attitude. -Supra-gingival scaling certification Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Work Location: In person
