We are looking to fill Tuesday-Thursday from 7:00-4:00, but are willing to be flexible for the right candidate/candidates. We are open to this position being filled by more than one person also if availability is limited. Your proficiency with Open dental software is a plus, but not required. Clinical techniques will help maintain the highest standards of hygiene and documentation accuracy. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using medical imaging techniques while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options to promote lifelong dental health. Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by documenting treatment details, medical coding, and clinical notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Ensure infection prevention management by adhering to aseptic techniques, sterilizing dental equipment, and following healthcare infection control protocols. Operate dental equipment skillfully while maintaining proper infection control standards to ensure a safe clinical environment. Review medical records for completeness and accuracy, supporting comprehensive patient care coordination.
