Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA)High-Level Restorative Assistant Location: Castle Rock, Colorado Job Type: Full-Time Compensation: $ â$ per hour, based on experience, clinical skills, and productivity Join a Modern, Growth-Oriented Private Dental Practice We are seeking an exceptional Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA) who is confident, highly skilled, and ready to work at the top of their abilities in a fast-paced restorative practice. This is not an entry-level dental assisting position. We are looking for an experienced clinical professional who takes pride in producing high-quality dentistry, managing restorative procedures efficiently, and creating an outstanding experience for every patient. You will work alongside a doctor who values teamwork, efficiency, clinical excellence, and the important role a skilled assistant plays in the success of the practice. Responsibilities Place, contour, finish, and polish composite restorations following the doctorâs preparation and diagnosis Assist with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, endodontic, and surgical procedures Fabricate, adjust, and polish temporary restorations Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photographs Complete digital scans for crowns, retainers, nightguards, and other appliances Independently manage treatment rooms, instruments, supplies, and patient flow Provide clear patient education and postoperative instructions Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Coordinate laboratory cases and digital workflows Follow OSHA, infection-control, and sterilization protocols Anticipate the doctorâs needs and help maintain an efficient, productive schedule Support the clinical team wherever needed to provide exceptional patient care Qualifications EDDA certification and/or extensive expanded-duties experience At least three years of dental assisting experience preferred Demonstrated ability to place high-quality restorations with minimal supervision Strong understanding of restorative dentistry, anatomy, contacts, contours, and occlusion Experience using digital scanning technology such as iTero, Medit, or TRIOS Experience with Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar practice-management software Excellent communication and patient-care skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and team-first mindset Ability to remain calm, organized, and productive in a fast-paced clinical environment Commitment to continued learning and clinical growth What Makes This Position Different Our dental assistants are empowered to use their skills at a high level.
