Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant at Fit To Smile Dental Aurora, you will play a crucial role in supporting our hygienists and dentist, ensuring a smooth, efficient workflow throughout the day. Key Responsibilities: Assist the dental hygienist with patient care, including preparing and sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and providing chairside support. Assist the dentist with various procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, impression scanning, and managing patient comfort. Prepare and manage treatment rooms to ensure all necessary materials are available for both hygienist and dentist procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling. Follow infection control procedures and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Support other team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work atmosphere. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant for at least 1.5 years High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
