We're looking for a compassionate, dependable Registered Dental Hygienist who enjoys building relationships with patients and providing high-quality care. Responsibilities Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews, ensuring comprehensive care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to strict infection prevention protocols. Assist with chairside procedures in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings, ensuring smooth workflow. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Follow infection control standards, including aseptic technique and healthcare infection prevention practices, to ensure patient safety. Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, supporting compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical coding standards.
