Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Conduct oral health assessments, including periodontal screenings and charting. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care strategies. Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure the sterilization and proper handling of dental instruments and equipment to uphold infection control standards. Provide compassionate patient care by addressing concerns, explaining treatment plans, and fostering a positive experience. Experience Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in Massachusetts Prior experience in a clinical dental setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for new graduates. Knowledge of current dental hygiene practices, infection control procedures, and safety standards. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
