Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), ensuring high-quality images for accurate diagnosis Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by documenting procedures, patient histories, and treatment notes with precision Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to optimize clinic efficiency Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, including sterilization procedures and safety standards Skills Critical care experience is highly valued to handle emergency situations confidently Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) to respond effectively in urgent scenarios Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental procedures and patient care Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) management systems for accurate documentation Knowledge of manual handling techniques to safely assist with patient positioning and equipment setup Familiarity with diagnostic radiology procedures for capturing high-quality dental X-rays Prior experience in acute care settings or surgical environments such as plastic surgery or general surgery is a plus This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in healthcare.
