Location: Argyle, Texas Job Type: Full-Time Are you a skilled and compassionate dental assistant seeking an exciting opportunity in a private dental office? We are currently looking for a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team at our dental practice in Argyle, Texas. Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms for patient care by sterilizing and arranging dental instruments and equipment. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as instructed by the dentist. Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and preventive measures. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes. Perform various laboratory duties, such as pouring and trimming models, fabricating temporary crowns, and processing dental impressions. Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols. Manage inventory and order dental supplies and materials as needed. Schedule appointments, answer phone calls, and handle administrative tasks as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assisting program preferred. Current certification in dental radiography and infection control preferred. Proven experience as a dental assistant or relevant clinical experience. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments. Familiarity with dental software and digital radiography systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
