Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, dietary choices affecting dental health, and preventive care strategies. Take digital diagnostic radiology images such as X-rays to assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR) systems efficiently, documenting patient histories, treatment plans, and medical notes with precision. Report patient conditions accurately to the dental team, ensuring clear communication about treatment progress or concerns. Qualifications Valid licensure or certification as a Dental Hygienist in accordance with state or regional regulations. Strong client communication skills to educate patients effectively and address their concerns confidently.
