Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our dental team. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take X-rays and perform medical imaging as required. Manage patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans using Eaglesoft software. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support the dental receptionist with scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure optimal patient comfort. Utilize 3D scanners for imaging when necessary. Stay updated on anatomy knowledge to better assist during procedures. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided. Proficiency in X-Ray technology and medical imaging techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control practices within a dental setting. Knowledge of general dentistry principles. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members. Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a busy environment.
