Job Summary Dental Assistant Join Our Dental Family! We are a busy, fast-paced, patient-centered dental practice seeking a dependable, organized and energetic Dental Assistant to join our team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and enjoys working in a positive, team-oriented environment. Qualifications: ● Current dental X-ray certification (required) ● Expanded Duties certification (required) ● Minimum of 1 year of chairside dental assisting experience beyond dental assisting school or training ● Excellent communication and organizational skills ● Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced office ● Friendly, professional attitude with a commitment to outstanding patient care Responsibilities: ● Assist the doctor during dental procedures ● Prepare treatment rooms and instruments ● Take digital dental X-rays ● Perform expanded duties as permitted by state regulations ● Educate patients and help create a positive dental experience ● Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols Some computer skills such as; basic knowledge of Microsoft programs as well as Dentrix Dental software are a plus.
