Overview We are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our private practice and become a vital part of delivering exceptional care! Duties Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing and organizing dental instruments and equipment according to infection prevention management protocols. Take dental x-rays, including digital imaging and 3D scans, ensuring adherence to dental sterilization procedures and aseptic techniques. Manage patient records using Eaglesoft to document medical history, treatment plans and chart note details accurately. Follow infection control guidelines strictly to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with healthcare infection prevention standards. Skills Proficiency with Eaglesoft, for documentation and records management. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, equipment operation, and clinical procedures including dental sterilization procedures and dental x-ray techniques. Experience with chairside assisting in general dentistry as well as specialized areas such as endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and pediatric dentistry. Familiarity with dental instruments processing, infection control. Enjoys learning and using the most up to date technology. Excellent communication skills to support patient care effectively while maintaining professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
