Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Springfield, OH

Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all supplies are ready for procedures Assist dentists during examinations and treatments by handing instruments, suctioning, and managing patient comfort Take and develop diagnostic radiology images such as X-rays to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Record patient information, treatment notes, and procedural details accurately Provide post-operative and oral hygiene instructions to patients Maintain compliance and infection control and safety standards Assist with impressions, temporary crowns and other clinical task Manage dental supplies and maintain inventory Requirements Proven experience in Dental assisting Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), with knowledge of emergency response procedures Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or electronic medical records (EMR) management systems Strong organizational skills Experience with manual handling techniques necessary for sterilization, equipment setup, and patient positioning Friendly, professional and patient focused Team player with a positive work ethic Eaglesoft knowledge is preferred Coronal Polishing is preferred but not required Join us in making a difference and having fun doing it!
