Job Summary I am looking to add a Dental Hygienist to my privately owned dental practice in the heart of downtown Milford, OH. Gloss Dental Studio is a modern, privately owned, one-doctor general and cosmetic dental practice in Milford, OH with a small, supportive, and patient-focused team. We are looking for an enthusiastic hygienist to join our team! Your expertise will help foster a positive experience for patients of all ages! Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. Take (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and patient comfort. Conduct patient assessments by recording vital signs, medical history, and current dental concerns. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote lifelong oral health. Follow infection prevention protocols, including sterilization procedures, to ensure a safe clinical environment. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current credentials. Dentrix experience even better, but not required! Willing to train new grads! Strong understanding of infection control practices, healthcare regulations including HIPAA, and medical coding standards. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, education, and team collaboration. Ability to perform dental x-rays accurately while maintaining patient comfort and safety.
