Dental Assistant/Receptionist - Park Avenue Dental Professionals - Libertyville, IL

Our progressive, private dental practice in Libertyville is seeking an experienced, cross-trained, expanded-duty dental assistant for a full-time position (34 hours/week). This position entails 2 days a week of assisting, and 2 days a week at the front desk. Interested individuals must have previous chairside assisting experience; proficiency in Open Dental Software preferred. Responsibilities Include: Preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing dental instruments, and assisting the dentists during procedures with precision and professionalism. Proficiency in provisional restorations, digital radiographs, and digital scanning is preferred. Greeting patients warmly and assisting with patient intake processes to ensure a seamless check-in experience. Managing appointment scheduling using Open Dental software. Answering the phone with excellent phone etiquette, providing clear communication and scheduling support. Working as a team to create a safe, friendly and fun work environment while providing the utmost of quality dental care to our awesome patients.
