Traveling Dental Hygienist Heartland Dental Primary Location: Briarwood Park Dental Care 95 S Waukegan Road, Deerfield, IL 60015 As a Traveling Dental Hygienist , you'll support our exceptional dental teams throughout Illinois, with opportunities to work in locations including Deerfield, Schaumburg, Westmont, and Countryside . Scheduled Hours - Briarwood Park Dental Care Monday 7:30am-5:00pm Wednesday 7:30am-6:00pm Flexible Hours Additional shifts are available on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at nearby Heartland Dental-supported offices convenient to your location. Your choice on days/hours worked. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (where required) Local Anesthesia and Nitrous certification Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience New graduates and experienced hygienists welcome! Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays and electronic medical record systems Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health Clinical needs as required by office Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/ Doctor/ Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation.
