Job Summary Our Pediatric Dental Office is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be kind, energetic, and passionate about creating a positive environment for our patients and their families. Job duties include: assisting pediatric dentists during dental procedures, sterilize instruments, prepare treatment rooms, practice infection control protocols between patients, take digital x-rays, completing dental prophylaxis, help maintain proper patients records (we use Open Dental), provide education to patients and parents about maintaining good oral hygiene and preventing dental decay. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant (ideally at least 1 year experience) Proficiency in chairside assisting and taking dental x-rays Familiarity with dental charting and dental terminology Understanding of infection control practices Ability to communicate to pediatric patients and their families Desire to be a committed team member with the goal of creating a positive work environment for both yourself and your co-workers Our office is open for patient care 3-4 days per week (no nights or weekends).
