At Doc Bresler’s adult practice in the Roxborough section of Philadelphia we are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Roxborough location. This is an immediate full time position. Dental Assistants MUST BE X-RAY CERTIFIED . Dental Assistant responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Greet patients and review the treatment planned for the visit. Seat patients and review/update medical histories, record med information in digital chart Take x-rays as needed for hygienist and doctor. Record periodontal charting for hygienist Prepare operatory with dental instruments and materials needed for planned procedure Enter treatment information/clinical notes and charges into digital chart Chairside assist doctor and EFDA when needed Clean room and disinfect dental chairs after treatment Sterilize instruments and disinfect equipment Verify supply orders and put items away Dental Assistant Requirements: X-ray certification (mandatory) Ability to multi task and work in a team environment Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off License/Certification: Radiology Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Philadelphia, PA 19128 (Required) Work Location: In person
