We're looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Orthodontic Assistant to join our team and help create great smiles every day. Position Summary The Orthodontic Assistant works chairside with our orthodontist to provide high-quality patient care, prepares and maintains treatment rooms, and helps ensure a smooth, positive experience for every patient. We welcome both experienced assistants and motivated entry-level candidates — hands-on training is provided. Responsibilities Assist the orthodontist chairside during exams, adjustments, and procedures Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and treatment rooms Take and process intraoral/extraoral photos and digital scans or impressions Place and remove orthodontic appliances (braces, bands, retainers) under doctor supervision Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care Maintain accurate patient records and chart treatment notes Ensure compliance with infection control and OSHA/HIPAA standards Support front-office team with scheduling and patient flow as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior experience as a dental or orthodontic assistant preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong interest in orthodontics are encouraged to apply — full training provided X-ray certification a plus (or willingness to obtain) Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children and teens Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Free parking On-the-job training Paid time off Referral program Uniform allowance Work Location: In person
