Job Summary Are you an experienced EFDA who takes pride in organization, leadership, and exceptional patient care? We're looking for a highly skilled assistant who wants to be more than just another team member; we're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, supporting their team, and helping create a consistently excellent patient experience. As our private practice continues to grow with multiple doctors, including a newly added associate dentist, we're seeking an experienced EFDA who enjoys collaboration, values accountability, and wants to play an important role in the success of our clinical team. What You'll Do Perform expanded functions (placing restorations, temporaries, scanning with iTero, etc.) Help support and organize daily clinical flow Be the primary support for associate docs for high quality care Ensure operatories and supplies are prepared and maintained Assist in mentoring and serve as a positive example for fellow assistants through professionalism and teamwork Maintain exceptional infection control and clinical standards Work closely with the office manager and doctors to improve efficiency and the patient experience Support consistency and quality throughout the assisting department Build positive relationships with patients and teammates We're Looking For Someone Who... Is Certified EFDA Has 3+ years of experience (preferred) Takes ownership without needing constant direction Advanced patient communication skills with the ability to confidently discuss comprehensive treatment, educate patients, and reinforce doctor recommendations to support treatment acceptance. Place and remove Invisalign Attachments Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed Help maintain a clean, safe work environment by sterilizing equipment and cleaning rooms Help with weekly operatory cleaning duties and follow through Help maintain function of office equipment and follow through Help patients feel comfortable and maintain accurate patient records using our Eaglesoft dental software Provides follow up care instructions for patients Be a team player! Qualifications Proficiency in Eaglesoft software preferred Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) Dental Radiology Certificate (required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Tuition reimbursement Uniform allowance Vision insurance Application Question(s): Have you been in a lead role before?
