Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs and medical history reviews. Perform dental cleanings and scaling procedures to maintain optimal oral health. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Review documentation and ensure compliance with infection control standards within the clinic. Utilize medical imaging systems to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress within the dental clinic environment. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques, including knowledge of dental terminology and procedures. Familiarity with infection control practices and systems used within a clinical setting is essential. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
