Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings and preventive dental hygiene services. Assess and document patients' oral health and periodontal condition. Complete comprehensive dental hygiene examinations and chart findings. Take dental X-rays according to Kentucky regulations. Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and periodontal health. Review medical histories and complete patient assessments. Prepare treatment rooms and maintain infection control standards. Clean and sterilize dental instruments and equipment. Work closely with the dentist to provide outstanding patient care. Accurately document patient treatment and recommendations. Qualifications Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Kentucky. Current CPR certification. Hepatitis B vaccination. Local anesthesia certification preferred.
