Patient Services Representative (Full-Time)Join Our Team We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our dental team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, staying organized, and supporting a busy healthcare environment. As a key member of our front office team, you'll help ensure every patient receives outstanding service while contributing to the efficient operation of the practice. Available Opportunities Portland Office Full-time position(s) available MondayâFriday, 8:00 AMâ4:30 PM No evenings, weekends, or holiday shifts Portland Full-time position Hours: MondayâFriday, 8:00 AMâ4:30 PM No evenings or weekends Key Responsibilities As a Patient Services Representative, you will serve as an important resource for patients before, during, and after their appointments. The role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. Responsibilities include: Welcome patients and assist with check-in and check-out processes Coordinate and schedule appointments while maintaining provider schedules Answer telephone calls and assist patients with scheduling, inquiries, and general information Discuss treatment recommendations, procedures, and financial arrangements with patients Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance Process payments and assist with billing and collection activities as needed Collaborate with providers and team members to support efficient daily operations Utilize Dentrix or similar practice management software to manage patient information and scheduling Qualifications We are happy to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellent customer service. Preferred qualifications include: Previous experience in a dental, medical, or other healthcare office setting Familiarity with Dentrix or comparable scheduling and practice management systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional and friendly telephone etiquette Bilingual abilities are highly valued Understanding of dental terminology, insurance processes, and treatment planning is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm, flexible, and productive in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Our team is committed to creating a supportive workplace where employees are respected, valued, and encouraged to succeed.
