Compensation Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications Schedule Options Full-Time Position Choose from one of the following schedules: Four (4) 10-hour shifts each week or Five (5) 8-hour shifts each week Office Hours: MondayâThursday: 7:00 AMâ5:30 PM Friday: 8:00 AMâ4:30 PM Position Overview As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with providers and fellow team members to deliver exceptional patient care while helping maintain an efficient clinical environment. Essential Responsibilities Provide chairside support during dental procedures and treatments Prepare treatment areas, instruments, and supplies before patient appointments Obtain dental radiographs while adhering to established safety guidelines Follow sterilization, infection prevention, and OSHA protocols Educate patients on oral health practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records using Dentrix software Assist in coordinating patient flow to ensure an organized and efficient schedule Offer support to other departments and team members as needed Help foster a positive, respectful, and patient-focused workplace culture Desired Qualifications We welcome candidates who are dependable, eager to learn, and committed to excellent patient care. Preferred skills and experience include: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required Familiarity with dental procedures, terminology, X-ray techniques, and infection-control practices Knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial Experience in pediatric dentistry and/or endodontics is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Professional demeanor with excellent attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Interest in continuing education and professional development Professional Development Opportunities Community Dental is committed to helping team members advance their careers and expand their clinical skills.
