Duties Perform a wide range of dental treatments including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery procedures. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental history reviews, clinical examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly and compassionately. Utilize Eaglesoft for scheduling, documentation, billing, and maintaining accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA and state healthcare regulations. Ensure strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques and proper sterilization methods to maintain a safe clinical environment. Collaborate with team members on four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Maintain detailed documentation of all treatments performed, medical diagnoses, and patient interactions in accordance with medical terminology standards. Stay current with advancements in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties to provide innovative care solutions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care strategies, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral health.
