Key Responsibilities: Assist the pediatric dentist chair-side during procedures and prepare operatories for treatment Take and process dental x-rays in accordance with safety standards Maintain and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control policies Manage operatory supplies and support inventory tracking and ordering Support both clinical and administrative functions as needed Assist patients and parents by answering questions and providing guidance under provider direction Help children feel comfortable and at ease during visits through effective communication and rapport-building Monitor patient flow and ensure accurate and timely completion of patient records and documentation Handle incoming and outgoing calls related to patient care and clinic operations Ensure proper disposal of hazardous and contaminated materials in compliance with regulations Follow all safety protocols, including PPE use and exposure control procedures Contribute to a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and high-quality patient care What You Bring: High school diploma or GED required Completion of an accredited dental assisting program Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license with at least two years of pediatric experience Nitrous oxide certification Current CPR/BLS certification Current radiology certification Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with children and families from diverse backgrounds Team-oriented mindset with strong organizational and multitasking abilities Professionalism, empathy, and the ability to manage sensitive situations Willingness to travel between clinic locations and work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed Preferred: Bilingual in Spanish Ready to Make a Difference?
