Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are ready for patient procedures Assist dentists during examinations and various dental treatments, including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and other restorative procedures Take and develop diagnostic radiology images (such as X-rays) while ensuring patient safety and comfort Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR management) accurately to document patient histories, treatment plans, and procedural notes Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions in a clear, compassionate manner Handle manual tasks such as positioning patients comfortably and assisting with chairside procedures while maintaining strict infection control protocols Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar clinical support role; experience in critical care or acute care settings is highly valued Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), with ongoing commitment to emergency preparedness training Knowledge of Dental terminology relevant to dentistry Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail Pay: From $18.00 per hour Benefits: Continuing education credits Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
