We are seeking a skilled and dependable long term individual with training for Treatment Coordinator position along with experience in dental assisting, and xrays certification. We are looking to hire immediately.

This position entails participating in both front AND back office duties. Our practice is a privately owned, slow pace, one patient at a time, state-of-the-art technology, emergency dentistry. We are focused on quality of care and providing exceptional dental experience. We’re growing and looking for an outstanding professional to join our team and help us grow.

Responsibilities of this full-time position may include:

Oversee daily administrative and clinical operations, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Carry out dental reception tasks to ensure smooth scheduling and patient communication, answering phone calls, aiding in insurance verifications, claims submissions.
Present and review treatment plans with patients.
Insurance claims submission and follow-up.
Support documentation processes by accurately updating electronic medical records (EMR systems) like Open Dental or EZ2000.

Additional tasks expected to participate in:
Manage patient flow by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
Assist dentist with various procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, surgery; utilizing chairside assisting skills.
Preparing treatment rooms with required instruments, equipment and material.
Assist in taking dental x-rays / photos.
Operate and maintain dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
Update clinical notes, charting, and conduct vital signs assessments.
Making patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment.
Maintain a thorough understanding of anatomy knowledge relevant general dentisty to support comprehensive patient care.
Various clinical and office tasks.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 year of professional dental experience.
CRoss training as a treatment coordinator AND dental assisting preferred. 
Knowledge of Insurance verification, claims submission, claims appeal is strongly recommended.
Willing to work Saturday and Sunday, committed to growing with our practice long term. 
Dependability, consistency, professionalism, time management skills.
CPR Certification.
Radiography/ X-RAY certification.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, infection control standards, aseptic techniques, and dental terminology.
Skilled in chairside assisting techniques.
Experience with advanced dental technology such as 3D scanners is preferred.
Ability to perform dental documentation accurately within electronic health record systems.
Must be a friendly and conscientious person who has the ability to communicate effectively with others in clear and accurate concise, and multi-task in a dental environment. 
Outstanding customer service. 
Knowledge of Spanish is desired but not required.
