Our office provides exceptional dentistry with services including dental implants, full mouth rehabilitations, TMD, and Invisalign. About the role: We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills that will treat each patient with the highest quality of care. This position is an important part of our team and we are looking for an individual that can work as effective team player. Responsibilities Communicating positively and supportively with each patient to our office in a friendly manner Demonstrating active listening skills with the ability to show care and empathy adapting to each patient individually Communicating with the entire dental team and responding to support requests with an appropriate level of urgency to ensure the best possible patient care. Preparing patients for dental work. Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures. Recording treatment information in patient records. Taking digital x-rays for patient diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment. Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs. Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs. Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist. Caring for dental equipment. Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts. Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory. Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions. Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary. Requirements: Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to listen to patients and advocate for them Effective in multi-tasking and flexibility with strong organizational skills Certification or associate degree in an accredited dental assistance program. Preferred, but not required. High school diploma or equivalent. Experience using computers for a variety of tasks, Eaglesoft knowledge preferred. Good written and verbal communication skills. Consistently professional appearance and attitude. Able to provide great patient care.
