Dental Assistant - Pediatric Dentistry of Eastern Arkansas - Forrest City, AR

Job Summary Experience preferred but not required We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and energetic Dental Assistant to join our growing pediatric dental team! In this role, you'll work closely with our dentists and hygienists to provide exceptional patient care, support a variety of dental procedures, and help create a fun, welcoming experience for every patient. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including pediatric and general dentistry Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Take dental X-rays while following radiation safety guidelines Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry techniques Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety Support patient comfort by explaining procedures and providing compassionate care Qualifications Dental assisting experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practices Experience with Dentrix dental software is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Positive attitude, professionalism, and a passion for working with children What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Health insurance for full-time employees Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to work at both of our locations in Forrest City and Searcy, Arkansas If you're passionate about providing outstanding patient care and want to be part of a team that makes a difference every day, we'd love to hear from you!
