Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional support to our dental team while ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our operations and delivering high-quality dental care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during various procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, and pediatrics. Prepare and maintain the treatment room, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Take and develop X-rays as required, adhering to safety protocols. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting vital signs accurately. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, fostering a positive patient experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and practice systems to enhance patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is necessary Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is essential. Familiarity with medical records management and vital signs monitoring is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in assisting with various dental procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients and team members. Certification in Dental Assisting or relevant training is advantageous but not mandatory.
